Since 2014, HAP Film has worked with diverse communities across New Zealand, delivering high-quality audio, visual and digital production. The team is now expanding to Sydney under the same name, bringing cinematic wedding videography and photography to couples across NSW and the rest of Australia.

Led by Managing Director Arash (Ash) Armand — an Auckland-trained wedding videographer, photographer, sound engineer and pianist — HAP Film is built around a team of specialists with decades of combined international experience. Hassan Najd brings more than forty years behind the lens, Ayad Nuamaan leads videography and editing with a background in Middle Eastern and Assyrian community work, and Parvin Fatahi handles graphic design and editing. The studio is affiliated with the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP) and the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography (NZIPP).

HAP Film holds particular expertise in multicultural celebrations — Persian, Turkish, Iraqi, Pakistani, Islamic, Hindu, Gujarati, Punjabi, Sikh and South Indian weddings — and is just as comfortable on smaller ceremonies as on large cultural events. The team travels nationally and is available across Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and elsewhere in Australia on request.
